FACILITY MANAGER – Sandra Deegan
Sandra is honored to be back managing the Cottage as this is where she started her working career as a caregiver. Sandra is tangata whenua of the local coastal area, and is extremely passionate about the welfare of members of the local community. She is humbled by being able to enhance local people’s lifestyles and in particular in their golden years regardless of whether they are residing at the Cottage.
OUR CARE GIVERS
Our exceptional care givers, number one priority and passion is for the well-being of our residents. They provide around the clock care and always come to work with a smile and a big heart ready to help. They are all local people and between them have many years’ experience giving their time to enhance the lives of the people residing at the Cottage.
OUR COOKS
Our cooks Crystelle and Ana bring a huge amount of energy, experience and passion to the kitchen. Their home baking and cooking is second to none.
OUR ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR – Mel Brown
Mel is our activities coordinator. She runs an excellent programme of activities designed to stimulate our residents and above all else ensure they are having fun! Mel’s strengths are the understanding and working with the resident’s individual cultural backgrounds and beliefs.
